Holders of a doctorate in education may be admitted directly to the second academic year of this integrated program.

Integrated BA B.Ed. Course

Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degrees are combined. 

This integrated course allows students to choose chosen disciplines based on their unique interests. The course lasts four years, and to be eligible, students must have completed their 12th grade with a minimum of 50% aggregate and have English as one of their core subjects.

B.P.Ed

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) is also known as the BPE course. This is a bachelor’s degree course that focuses solely on Physical Education. 

The course lasts three years, and to be eligible, students must have completed their 12th grade in any subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate. This percentage fluctuates depending on the institute.

D.El.Ed

The Diploma in Elementary Education, or D.El.Ed, is a credential program for elementary teacher education. Students are prepared to take on the position of an elementary school teacher through training. The course will take two years to complete. 

To be eligible for the course, students must have completed their 12th grade in any subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate. This percentage varies depending upon the institute in which you are enrolled. 

B.Ed

A Bachelor of Education, or B.Ed, is a postgraduate degree. However, all graduates who have completed their undergraduate bachelor’s degree courses are eligible to enroll in the course.

You’ll need this degree to work as a secondary or higher secondary school teacher. After completing the postgraduate program, you can enroll in a B.Ed program. 

The program lasts two years, and applicants must hold a BA, B.Sc, or B.Com degree with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate. In addition, to be admitted to this program, one must pass the B.Ed. Entrance test.

Montessori Teacher Education

All students interested in becoming Montessori teachers should enroll in a complete Montessori teacher training program. The applicants receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. This would assist them in locating Montessori teaching positions.

Course for Assistant Professors

After earning a Master’s degree, one can simply sit for tests like the NET/SET/SLET and advance to the position of Assistant Professor.
