I am K.Lasya. I have done my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Keyes college. My father is a pvt. employee (account),my mother is a home maker. I have a younger sister. I had a great support from my family that encouraged me a lot.

I wrote ICET exam to pursue MCA. I took vod batch ICET course from IQ academy which helped me a lot. Out of 3 exam sections (analytical, mathematical, communication abilities), I gave equal priority to analytical and mathematical ability. After learning the concept, we have to solve as many questions as possible. As it is a time bounded exam, short tricks are needed,which I had learnt from IQ academy and a few other sources.

When I wrote mocks, I came to know where I was spending too much time time and practised accordingly.(We have to take as many mocks as possible ).10 days before the exam, I revised ICET PYQs. In the exam, we should solve only easy, known questions and mark a random choice for the rest to complete the paper within time.

I secured state 64th rank in this year TS ICET
Here I have some tips to score good rank :
1. It is better to start preparation in your final year of graduation or before 3 months of the exam.
2. First know the syllabus, then go through PYQs Then ,You will get an idea on important topics
3. For business and computer terminology
There will be 5 questions on each of the above topics. You can Google important business terminology and computer terminology and prepare for it
4. For vocab section : Learn most repeated vocabulary of previous competitive exams such as cgl,chsl,mts and pyqs ts icet and ap icet
5. For functional grammar section: I suggest you to watch Nimisha Bansal mam's 120 rules of grammar on YouTube.This is more than enough and it will be helpful for your other competitive exams too.
6. For Reading comprehension part: You need to be good reader to tackle it
Learn grammer rules and we need use our common sense while doing this😅
With this we can score well in communication Ability
I assure if you follow the above steps in communication Ability you are going to get atleast 40 marks or above easily
7. Analytical ability: there will be 2 sections they are
1. Data sufficiency: 20 questions
2. Problem Solving: 55 questions
Focus more on problem solving part
For this section use YouTube wisely. Search each topic in the above sections and watch classes,
Understand them and make notes and revise them.
8.Mathematical Ability :
There will be three sub sections
1.Arthimetical Ability: 35 marks
Easy sections most scoring sections
Focus more on percentages, mensuration, ratio and proportion, time and work
2.Algebraic and geometrical Ability: 30 questions
This is going to be little tough
For this focus more on Trigonometry, trigonometric identities, linear equations and plane geometry more
3.Statistical Ability: 10 question
In this you can easily score full marks
If you focus basic topics such as mean median mode calculating methods.
9.There will be 200 questions in exam so your time management in each section is very important.
First complete
Communication ability section
As it takes less time
Then go for Analytical Ability section followed by Mathematical Ability
