What are the exams for Nursing Officers in India?

The main exam for Nursing officers is conducted by AIIMS by the name of NORCET twice every year for the filling of Nursing ofiicers vacancies in AIIMS and few  other Institutes all over India.

Other Exams are RRB, MNS, DSSSB, JIPMER, PGIMER, JIPMER, ESIC, KGMU & Various State Level Exams. 

Who is eligible for Nursing officer Exams?

Any student who have completed thier Degree in Nursing Education like B.Sc in Nursing, B.Sc[Hons] Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and have a Registration Number by INC approved council is eligible for filling Nursing Exam forms and that too mostly with any experience in Hospital Practice.


If You have Diploma in Nursing i.e. GNM then in mostly exams experience is required in Minimum 50 Bedded hospital alongwith registration certificate.
