In this video, we have demonstrated the Key steps for Kocher Maneuver, Extensive Kocherisation, and Aortocaval lymph node sampling. We have tried to address the common queries. The relevant anatomy, TNM staging and rationale for surgery in gall bladder cancer are also discussed. This was a case of gallbladder cancer. kocherisation and aorto caval LN (ACLN) sampling is the first step of this procedure, i.e. extended/radical cholecystectomy.
This video tutorial has been designed with the intent of teaching surgery trainees, and we have tried to answer all the basic queries about the procedure. we hope that surgery trainees will find it useful and will get new insight into the Kocher Procedure. This video tutorial has been designed as a step-by-step guide for beginners.
